Risk modelling firm Eqecat has appointed Bill Keogh as its senior vice-president of strategic initiatives. Keogh was previously group executive of global client development at Risk Management Solutions (RMS). He left RMS in May last year.
In his new role Keogh will be responsible for setting and implementing corporate strategy and will report to Richard Clinton, president of Eqecat.
"Bill's experience with risk analytics business strategy and client engagement makes him a perfect fit for this role," said Clinton. "He is an experienced leader and has an extensive understanding of Eqecat clients and the special role risk modeling plays in the global insurance and reinsurance market."
Keogh began his career in 1982 as an underwriter. His underwriting experience includes property/casualty insurance and reinsurance and spans the US, the UK, Europe, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean.
