Xchanging brings free wifi to LUC

Xchanging has launched free wifi for the London Underwriting Center (LUC) which will support its mobile app, “X-presso”.

This is hoped to boost increase speed and efficiency for the insurers using the mobile insurance application.

Two new applications are being launched within X-presso. The first is IMR4Brokers, giving brokers access to claims and policy documents from the Insurers’ Market Repository.

The second is the broker lounge, a queuing and appointments platform enabling face to face meetings in the market.

IMR4Brokers and Broker Lounge are expected to be launched by the end of 2013.

Alexandra Considine, Xchanging mobile services product manager, said: “X-presso utilises the mobile technology that many of us now carry with us and use on a daily basis.

“With more applications to join Claims Viewer, such as IMR4Brokers and Broker Lounge, X-presso is quickly becoming invaluable for the insurance market.

“The added benefit of free wifi means that mobile working is both fast and convenient.”
