Photos from the Reactions Global Awards Dinner 2013, which recognised the best insurers, reinsurers, broking firms, service providers and individuals in the global insurance and reinsurance market, are now available for free download.
More than 300 leading executives attended the dinner at the Wall St Cipriani, New York on September 25.

In the insurance company categories, AIG won Best North America Insurance Company, Allianz won Best Europe Insurance Company and Ace won Best Global Insurance Company. Arch’s Dinos Iordanou won Insurance CEO of the Year.
In the reinsurance company categories, RenaissanceRe had a good night, winning Best Reinsurance Company for US Property-Catastrophe and Best Bermuda Market Re/Insurance Company. Scor won Best Reinsurance Company for both US Life and International Life. Trans Re, XL Re, Gen Re and Munich Re also won reinsurance awards.
But Swiss Re had the best night among reinsurers, winning Best Reinsurance Company for International Specialty and the coveted Best Global Reinsurance Company award. Swiss Re Capital Markets also won the Best ILS Advisor award.
Ed Noonan, CEO of Validus, won the Reinsurance Executive of the Year award, however, for his strong, decisive leadership at the class of 2005 firm.
In the broking categories, MMC’s strong performance in recent times was reflected in Marsh winning the Best Insurance Broking Company for US Business and Guy Carpenter winning the Best Reinsurance Broking Company for US Business. In addition, Alex Moczarski, CEO of Guy Carpenter, also won Reinsurance Broking CEO of the Year.
Aon did the best for international broking, defined as non-US business. Aon won the Best Insurance Broking Company for International Business, while Aon Benfield won the Best Reinsurance Company for International Business and Best Reinsurance Broking Company for Analytics.
Arthur J Gallagher, JLT and TigerRisk also picked up broking awards, while Pat Gallagher won Insurance Broking CEO of the year.
The evening was capped off by Brian Duperreault winning the Lifetime Achievement award.

The awards are the result of an online poll of our readers and the Reactions editorial team then canvassing the market through informal interviews with underwriting executives, broking executives, equity analysts and other observers and making editorial choices on which firms, people and deals are most deserving this year.
