UKP&I, Britannia merger talks break down - FREE

Containership_280A statement from the UKP&I club has signalled the end of merger discussions between itself and Britannia.

The boards of the two marine mutual protection and indemnity (P&I) clubs had been in talks since February.

“While a number of potential synergies and benefits were recognised, no agreement could be reached on acceptable terms, and the discussions have now been terminated,” said the statement.

“No further comment is being made by either party,” the P&I club added.
