Beazley takes hit from California wildfires

London market specialist re/insurer Beazley is the latest to announce losses following the Camp and Woolsey fires in California, to the tune of $40m. Beazley said that it had made an investment return in the 11 months to 30 November of 0.5% or $27m. It also noted that investment markets continue to be volatile.
